My dad's work decided to switch health insurance companies from Harvard Pilgrim to Tufts recently, so I've been getting a new doctor, dentist, eye doctor, etc. I'm not sure if I ever mentioned that. Anyway, yesterday, because I had to have an eye doctor apointment scheduled at the last minute in Harvard Square, it was decided my parents would come along and force upon me that birthday dinner they'd been so forcefully trying to push the last few days. So I went to the eye doctor's. Got the special contact lenses that I can fall asleep in withot worrying about my eyes rolling out of my head. Also bught bozarre librarian-esque glasses on a wild whim I will surely be regretting when I get to college. Also got new lenses for the glasses I currently have. The girl who did the regular eye tests, the whole 'follow the pen' and 'look straight ahead and tell me how many fingers I'm holding up in your peripheal vision' looked, souded like, and acted a great deal like Cameron on House. So then I decided to get revenge on my parents/good food by trying to find the Mr. Bartley's restaurant I had so adored with Grace a couple months ago (the really, really hippish place), except that failed so then I was like, fuck it, lets get Au Bon Pan. Except my dad wouldn't eat there because the sandwiches aren't big enough, but wouldn't say that until after we'd ordered (it was switched to 'to go'). So having sucessfully manipulated me into having to go out with them again for that goddamned birthday dinner, I am going to Ruby Tuesday's with them tonight.

So I just woke up AND ONLY MY GOD THE SCRATCHING. The entire underside of my left arm is covered and covered in mosquito bites. And not, you know because I scratched and they got bigger noooooo- I look like an alien with pink bumpy skin. Like seriously, its like my skin is textured that way. It's really freaking me out.

Whoa, so I knew Peter O'Toole, Mary Louise Parker (Weeds!) and Wes Craven shared my birthday, but Kevin Smith too? That combination's kinda awesome. I'm totally picturing them all in some weird, weird movie together now where they're all like potheads and alcoholics raising a baby together while chasing wherewolves and doing funny dance routines.

2:34 am - I Feel Old

Went to the dentist's today/yesterday. Tried novacane for the first time (when I was little I was so terrified of needles, I skipped it). Went to the magical cafe + used book store at the library and found more magical finds.
This is the first time in a really, really long time that I'm not in Florida for my birthday. Still, everyone's predictably away. Grace with her dad on his tour. Tracey is Leomnister. Even with my mom here, it still somehow, ridiculously, feels lonlier than it does than when I'm in Florida.

Fuck. Grace is with her dad at one of his music festivals and Tracey has them ordered so now I have no one to go get Harry Potter with tommorow night, and I'm too afraid to use the subway by myself that late at night :(
Is it wrong that I'm thinking of taking a couple sleeping pills to knock me out tommorow around 11 so I won't be so depressed?

I had a 35 page conversation with someone I hadn't heard from in a very, very long time (the conversation spans nearly 5 hours) and I want to save it (provatly of course) on livejournal. Now aside from knowing 35 pages is too long (I actually tired too), does anyone know how to divide it up to save it here (i.e. what's the maximum amount of pages livejournal will allow in an entry?).
